Hi Everyone,

Apologies for the radio silence. Vlog 25 is now up. Hope you enjoy. :)

This week involves Downing St with Ruth, going backstage at QVC and dental surgery from hell. And no, I'm not exaggerating.

See you next week!

  1. Hi

    Great vblog as always :)

Just a question, I have incredibly oily skin and have just bought the Biologqiue P50W. I was also drawn in to buying the Dermopurifiante but I've now read mixed reviews. I now regret ever buying it and wondered what moisturiser you would recommend using for super oily skin? I was also drawn into DermaQuest B5 Matte - please say that wasn't a stupid buy also!!

    Thank you :)

  2. Really missed your vlogs! Going over to YT to watch it now!

  3. Caroline, you really are a comedian and the blog is so entertaining, especially the bit about the dentist, which really made me laugh! Just one word: someone once pointed out to me that I apologize too much and that it is a particularly female trait to over-apologize. I thought it over, and decided my new motto would be "Never apologize, never explain." (within reason, of course). It allows you to claim your power. Think it over. All the best, Virginia

  4. So sorry you went through so much pain. My mum had similar thing but she went under at UCL. She joked she looked like the godfather. Get well soon. You deserve another holiday xxx

  5. Having watched your vlog it feels like catching up with a dearly missed friend over a cuppa! Isn't the Internet a fantastic thing - hope your tooth/jaw is feeling much better. Take care Caroline xx

  6. Hi Caroline! I can completely relate to your dentist dilemma- Im innmy thirsties and yet to have a cavity...I dread the day it comes (obvi it will!) ready to tell them "knock me out!" I also have to ask please, where did you get your grey hooded sweatshirt?!! When I saw it on your IG post I thought "its perfect!" Im a hooded sweatshirt freak if that isnt clear by my behavior ;) Love your vlogs!

  7. For train journey reading :-)

    Dear Mrs Hirons,
I am writing to say that I've missed
your vlogs. I have been reading your blog for a while but there is a special place for your vlogs. They brighten my day. So I want to say thank you for taking the time to make them. It is much appreciated.
As for your blog, I have learned a lot from it. Ever since following your advice my skin has transformed. I will confess that I recommend your blog (and channel) to my friends.
And have made few of them do a proper cleanse.
Because I live in Croatia there is not a lot of balms and exfoliating toners to try. As I am planning a holiday to Ireland can you recommend some toners for me to purchase? I am currently using LRP exfoliating toner. What would be a step up in strength?

Thank you in advance for reading this and any reply.

    Much love from Croatia!

    1. Hi Sanja. Not Caroline but I live in Ireland. You can buy the Clarins Exfoliating Toner here in any department store (e.g. Brown Thomas, Debenhams) and many large pharmacies / chemists. You can also get the Pixi Glow Tonic, which is sold though Marks & Spencer, however it is often out of stock. If you are here for more than a few days though, you can order the Pixi tonic from one of the online sites like cloud10beauty or cult beauty. Hope this helps. M.

  8. Glad you're on the mend! Enjoyed watching your vlog, esp you and Ruth together :')

Re: blog posts- could you please do a review on foreo Luna? I know you aren't a fan of skincare brushes in general, but this one is supposed to be more gentle and has had quite a lot of press/ positive reviews. Obviously it'd be nice to have your weigh in on it :)
