MUN No.7 Ayour Body Toning Serum - Updated

Updated 16.11.16*

Describe the brand in three words.
New to me!

Who is it for?

What’s in it?
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Seed Oil, Rosa Moschata (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Opuntia Ficus Indica (Prickly Pear) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Oil, Origanum Majorana (Marjoram) Oil, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Oil

What's not in it?
'nasties', anything GMO

Possibly acne/allergy/troubling for some ingredients?
Essential oils

Suitable for pregnancy?

Natural? Organic? Man made? Vegan?
Organic, vegan, wild-harvested, non-GMO

Tested on animals in home country/EU/sold in territories that require testing?

Newly repackaged and rebranded! Nov 2016

How does it smell?
It smells beautiful, a mixture of earthy, green and floral, not too 'spa'.

How do you use it?
I apply after showering, and tend to use it all over my upper half, I use el cheapo L'Oreal on my legs.
A couple of pumps is enough for décolleté, shoulders, arms, boobage and midriff.

Best for winter or summer?
Either, although I've only embraced it as the weather got colder.

How long did I test it for?
I've had it for around a month and used it almost every day since I got it. I suspect you'd only want to use something like this in hot weather if you suffered from really dry skin.

How much is it? /Size/Approximate cost per usage?
$75.00 for 100ml

What’s the website like?
It's fine. Good info and ingredients listed.

How’s the distribution? Available freely or limited?
It looks like extremely limited distribution. Sort that out retailer friends.

What’s good about it?
Everything. Until the last few months, and outside of pregnancy, I have hated the feel of oil on my skin. I always used body lotions and creams. When I was pregnant I covered my bump in oil (Clarins Tonic) and used cream everywhere else.
I had the idea of using oils across my décolleté/shoulders and down my arms after I found myself trying to spread my face serums that bit further in my morning routine. I got out all the good body oils I had in my stash and safe to say I am now obsessed. Body oils, like facial oils and serums have moved on so much since the greasy days of old. A lot of them are the same texture as their face counterparts and almost dry in texture.
This was given to me in NY recently and does not disappoint. Absorbs so quickly, and surprised me by keeping my skin comfortable all day. Not greasy in the slightest, the faint smell dissipates gently and I swear some of my drier patches on my arms have cleared up. Skin still feels soft at the end of the day.
I find myself reaching for this on an almost daily basis, only switching it out to play with other body oils. I'm having a moment, clearly.

What’s not so good about it?
It looks like it may be hard to find, which I was unaware of when I decided to blog it. Sorry!

Would I purchase/repurchase?
Yes, if it can be found.

Do you need it?
Only if body oils and 'green' are your thing. If they are, then this is spectacular. If you would not spend this much outside of your face, then no.

  1. I love a body oil too. Happy birthday to your eldest. Hope you're all celebrating and having a ball. Xx

  2. I really enjoyed this post. Could you please do a body oil post? This body oil sounds amazing but I don't think I can justify spending so much money on a body oil :-(

  3. Thanks for the post! I really like your blog - it has helped me figure out a good skin care routine that works for me!
I have been looking through your old blog posts and cheat sheets for ideas for my mum's Christmas. I was wondering if you could make a blog about "Christmas presents your mum will love"?

  4. So wonderful that you've discovered Mun - the No 1 Aknari Brightening Youth Serum is another beaut! Alyaka is a local and reputable stockist, just a recommendation from a fairly discerning customer.....

  5. damn, website is entirely sold out of all their products. Nuffink at all. Whahhhht!

  6. Ho Caroline, I was wondering if you have ever tried Dr Alkaitis Treatment Oil? It smells gorgeous and is really nourishing. It's not a brand I have seen you mention so I thought I would put it out there as it sounds similar to this oil. I really like it from the neck down.

  7. Whenever I use a body oil I really enjoy it, but then I forget and go back to my The Body Shop Body Butters.

  8. I love any form of oils as it does wonders for my skin during the colder months. I'm using jojoba oil on my face and the moment and my skin loves it!

  9. I love the OGX hair and body oil for my body - it's very dry. But the one I use almost every day is the Body Shop Beautifying Oil (I like the pink grapefruit and satsuma versions). I really hate trying to rub lotion into my legs, but this oil absorbs instantly and doesn't leave grease marks on my bedding or other soft furnishings - plus it smells so refreshing and lovely. Highly recommended, especially as they are frequently on offer.

  10. Body oil/ body care post please?
    much love from Dubai ❤️
