Somewhere in the last 24 hours my blog hit 70 million page views. Over 4 million of you have read an awful lot of pages in the last six years.
I know it's small fry for some, but I'm can't tell you how thrilled I am. No advertising, no 'bought' followers/views, just 6+ years of hard graft and a chuffingly brilliant audience. That would be you.

ReplyDeleteI've only been a follower for about a year (before that, I lived under a rock, lol) but I have learned SO MUCH in that time. You've introduced me to new brands ( Deciem, NIOD, P50, etc.) and really helped me get to grips with my dry skin. You've also caused my supply of white washcloths to quadruple in size! ReplyDeleteSuper star. Saved my skin and my mental health - I was sectioned last time I was on accutaine, can you believe they were going to give me it again? ... Then I found you (5 little weeks ago) and my skin is clear, my bank account is also clear... However I am happy (and not sectioned off somewhere). So thank you. Your not just saving skin you are saving lives too. My confidence is rising and I leave the house nowadays. I honestly cannot tell you how my life has changed. Acne is not just a medical issue- it causes very serious psychological effects too and so does the horrible doctors prescription. Can't thank you enough xx

ReplyDeleteA massive congratulations your hirons, ive been following for 3years and ive learnt so much,my skin is so much happier managing my perimenopausal acne plus ageing 46yearold skin, i wouldnt have done it if id never found your blog i would still be in despair using harsh stripping foaming products my skin inflamed and angry, no more since i joined the hirons revelation..you rock caroline and thank you for helping us all.xxx

ReplyDeleteCongrats Caroline. Hope you won't mind me wanting to be a on first name basis with the famous Hirons. Have only been following a couple of months if that. I'm in my sixties and finally learning how to take care of my skin. Can't believe the difference. All the bad advice that's dished up, particularly to those with problem skin makes me so angry. The money wasted on products that were never going to work. And I tell every young family member now to come here for advice. I appreciate everything you do here more than you will ever know. Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou know that warm and fuzzy feeling you have when you an achievement eventuates? Bask in that - you deserve it! You've brought so much to our lives (your followers), you've taught me a massive amount and I have shared this knowledge with my friends and coworkers. And most of the pay off will come for me in 30 years time when I'm 60 and glowing, so I'll come find you and thank you personally then!!

I have been known to stand at the counter checking products on carolinehirons.com before I buy. I've always loved skincare, and your blog empowered me to make well-informed decisions on products that would make my skin look its best. I'm 25 and my complexion is smoother, clearer, less red, and brighter than it was a year ago and I have you and your wonderful blog to thank for that!
