This weekend I visited the brand new Beauty Workshop in Selfridges, Birmingham to meet some readers and generally indulge in a day of beauty.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see me and nag about skincare. The store is beautiful (and surprisingly big) and the staff are brilliantly welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable.

So Midlands peeps: if you are in need of a quick hair fix, a manicure, some beautiful niche brands that may not be as well known as the 'usual suspects' but still pack a punch, head to the Beauty Workshop. They stock more than a few of my faves including Ole Henriksen, Perricone, Time Bomb, Bio Effect and Aesop to name a few.

Selfridges Birmingham Beauty Workshop launch - see you there!

OI! Brummies! My friends at Selfridges Birmingham are launching their Beauty Workshop this month and I am joining them on Saturday 13th September to basically cause skincare chaos host the launch, discuss all things beauty and skincare and hang out in the new playground of beauty in the Midlands.

I'll be giving very informal talks including Q & A sessions at 12pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm. Some of my favourite brands will have their teams on hand to talk you through any queries and demonstrate the jewels in their crown. EXCITEMENT.

There is no charge, just turn up and hang out with us.
