OGX Kukui Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

Ever since I talked about removing SLS from my shampoos and the almost instantaneous positive effect that doing so had on my scalp, I am always asked about my current shampoo/conditioners. These are brilliant. So much so that I was going to include them in my 'Best of 2014' video (Sunday hopefully) but then realised that they aren't out yet. Duh.

They are the first products I've used from OGX and I am completely sold.

This being me, I ran out of conditioner before I was even halfway through the shampoo so will be buying another one from the range tomorrow (doing my to-do list for tomorrow is what reminded me I wanted to write this post). They leave my hair really lightweight and with absolutely no residue. Perfect for either the big blow dry day or a bun (standard approach). One of the rarer occasions where you feel like a hair product is actually doing you some good, as opposed to coating it in gunk....

If you do suffer from scalp problems, or bacne, do try and use SLS-free products and see if they make a difference. The joy of it is you don't have to break the bank to do so.

Product of the Week - Tigi Bed Head Colour Goddess Conditioner

Surprise to myself this one - I never used to be big on spending that much money on haircare - I go through so much of it that it seemed 'wasteful'. Idiotic really when I take into account how much I spend on colour and highlights etc every month.

I'll keep this one simple: it's a conditioner that does what it says on the box. It helps protect from fading, keeps my hair bright and very shiny without feeling like it's coated in silicone, it keeps it conditioned and importantly for me, doesn't aggravate my scalp like so many others. It's also sulfate-free and it doesn't affect my highlights in a negative way.

I like the shampoo and the leave-in conditioner that are part of this range too - but the conditioner is my favourite - and it's called Product of the Week. Not 'Group of Products of the Week.'
