First up of the stocking fillers is.....
Prtty Peaushun. (See what I did there? Stocking fillers? Leg potions? Oh never mind.)
Regular readers of this blog will know about my goalkeeper legs. No really. Inherited. Anyway: I digress.
As it's party season and some of you will no doubt getting your legs out and your heels on, you may want them to look less like this:

| Me, earlier today. |
And more like this:

| Tracy Anderson - the 'legs' of Prtty Peaushun - so hot I'm nearly offended. |
I asked Bethany Karlyn, the founder of Prtty Peaushun, for her top leg tips for the Party Season. Brace yourselves: this woman speaks my language.
'Now
that the holidays are upon us, our lower extremities are coming out of
hibernation looking a bit crusty and pasty. To get your trotters in tip top
shape for the world to see, follow these simple natural steps to 'oohs' and 'aahs' rather
than 'oh ohs' and 'oh no's!'…
Start
at the bottom for twinkling tootsies and striking stems!
- To get
those hooves in check, hit the hardware store running! For baby soft heels, sandpaper
in two grades, medium to remove and fine to smooth, will change your
relationship with your feet forever – I buy a sanding sponge, a foam block
covered in sandpaper, at my local hardware store that offers flexibility and
grip. For convenience, 3M makes one with medium on one side and fine on the
other. Sanding rough heels and calluses over a towel or wastepaper basket is recommended…
It will look like it’s snowing inside the house! Use on clean dry feet starting
with the medium grit and finishing with the fine grit, being careful to avoid
soft delicate skin, then wipe feet with a warm wet cloth. Your feet will feel like they’ve never touched the ground! Rinse the block when finished
and set on the edge of the sink to dry for the next time.
- Soaking
feet in vinegar will make your dogs stop barkin’ and have you
walking on cloud 9. To remove excess cuticle and dead
dry skin, I use pure undiluted raw apple cider vinegar by Braggs. After soaking
clean feet in vinegar for 15 minutes or so, gently push back your cuticles with
your thumbnail or an orange stick and rub away the excess. Rub any rough
patches on the toes, heels, and ankles away with your fingers. While soaking feet,
also saturate a washcloth in the vinegar and set on your knees to soften and
remove roughness there as well…just rub away the dead dry skin after removing
the cloth. Apple cider vinegar contains malic acid, a fruit acid that will
gently exfoliate the skin without the use of harsh chemicals. Its also a great
remedy for many problems like toenail
fungus, dry feet, tired feet, etc. When finished, wash the skin thoroughly and gently massage with
a natural oil based product like… Prtty Peaushun!
- With
a huge celebrity following, Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight body lotion makes
light work of keeping legs in tip top shape. The natural, vegan,
cruelty free formula is fabulous for people of
all shades, all shapes, all ages... anyone who wants to look lit from within.
The visual effect of Prtty Peaushun is lengthening and slimming as it
creates a subtle glow... think glimmer, not glitter. Imperfections are
diffused, uneven tones are softened and muscles are defined. Handcrafted
organic plant extracts lift, tighten and firm the skin giving a lightly pulled
in feeling. The botanicals help heal cuts, scrapes, bruises, sore muscles,
burns and sunburns, and repel mosquitoes to boot!
Told ya. :)
