Adding to the growing 'glow' sector, Estee Lauder release Genuine Glow this summer. A hybrid between primer and skincare, these are water-based and oil-free so suitable for all. Used daily, Genuine Glow is said to minimise the look of pores, help even-out tone and refine the skin’s texture for a smoother, glowy complexion. There are six skus in the range including three skin products and three colour products designed to give a quick wash of colour on the run.
It'll be interesting to see if the industry ever tries to go back to 'matte' as a look. Glow appears to have taken hold.
The Genuine Glow range launches in July and is priced between £16.00 and £30.00.

It was you who said that healthy skin glowed, that matte skin was dead, and there would be plenty of time for matte skin when you actually are dead.
ReplyDeleteGood mantra. I'm Team Glow. To life!
LOL So good and true! Me too, I'm team glow! And happy it's a brand I can get a hold of here in the southern hemisphere...

I am saving so much money on all these glow products. I'm so oily, I don't need any help glowing. I guess mattifying was all the rage a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteI second team glow! I switched my foundation from matte to luminous over the weekend and as I walked into the office Monday, no joke, a coworker said I obviously had a facial this weekend! Omg talk about converted.
ReplyDeleteLol I am the matte industry.
ReplyDeleteI hope it will, I am still holding on to the matte look, and I think I always will.

Oh I am all over these when they come out. Having said that, I still use powder mineral foundation as my go-to daily despite reading everywhere that powder mineral is, like, so five years ago :p I get my glow from my skincare instead...
ReplyDeleteI like my skin leaning precariously into the "juicy" zone, so these products are definitely some I should check out.

I have never found that these creams BB, CC, give enough coverage to actually leave the house with. Matt oder glow... As a member of the over 40 crowd, and fighting that oily look for so many years, I have never even considered other products. But after reading Mrs. Sho Nuffs comment, I think I might at least give it a try.
