Last week the very lovely Ruth from A Model Recommends and I filmed a lot of videos. A LOT of videos - for YouTube.
Two of them have gone live and are available through the links below.
Morning Skincare Routine - via my channel

I hope you like them. We had great fun making them. More to come!
Let me know what you think. :)
Very informative and helpful! Please definitely do some more. I always learn so much watching your videos.
ReplyDeleteCaroline, I love you <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteLoved the videos. Do you know if the Perricone Chia Serum is limited edition? Also would you apply the Decleor balm as your moisturizer or before? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know the same!
DeleteI got mine from strawberrynet.com for around 11 GBP;-)
DeleteFinally!!!!!! :-D
ReplyDeleteJust watched your videos, very excited that you are now on YouTube. I'm away to wash my face!

ReplyDeleteExcellent. I am so pleased you have chosen Ruth to video with you.
ReplyDeleteCaroline I have started to use the FAB exfoliating pads and love them although I would be afraid to use them in the morning time especially in sunny weather.
I was a total phobic for products like this as others really were too strong for my skin. These tingle but feel like they are working. It's thanks to your blogs I have added this step.
I ordered another lactic acid type toner today to use for a change but the FAB ones are my first step. I was worried about using them every night but after watching this video I might be able to.
Thank you looking forward to more videos. I was afraid of you lol
Today's the day!! Been waiting for this!!
ReplyDeleteOMG !! Perfection ! Funny and informative, Cannot wait to see more of you two and Caroline you are FABOULUS !!
ReplyDeleteFabulous. Love you two so this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC...two thumbs up! Can't wait for more! And even though you have probably been told several times by now, you are pronouncing chia (chee-ah) correctly.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! Can't wait for more!
ReplyDeleteI've subscribed!
ReplyDelete(May I offer a small suggestion, given with love- more eye contact with the camera/your audience. Pretend the camera is a person in the room.)
I am RIDICULOUSLY happy about this collaboration. Cannot wait to see the next video. And the next one,and the next one. Keep 'em coming ladies, the internet is officially a better place :)
ReplyDeleteI am just wondering at what point in the routine should I use my antibacterial lotion that I use for my spots? I've been using it after the toning stage & before serums & moisturiser.

These are great news! Love it. I think that visuals cant complete perfectly your lessons and help us to learn the HOW TO of everything you teach us. And you're lovely!
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline, Ill just start off by saying i absolutely adore your blog! i wanted your advice on my skincare regimen, i have just started using the clarions exfoliating toner and i know that you have said it is not the kind of toner you should be using all day everyday forever, so i was wondering what you would recommend as a good one to use in conjunction with this one that can be used daily. Otherwise do you need to use an exfoliating toner morning and night or is it just a once and a while thing in general?
ReplyDeletexxx
Hi Caroline! I absolutely love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI have a question regarding my routine, i am currently using the clarions exfoliating toner and i know that you have said it isn't one for use every day, i was wondering if you could recommend i good one that i could use in conjunction with it? And is it a good idea to be using an exfoliating toner morning and night every day swell.
My second question is in regards to sunscreen. My moisturiser (Ren hydra-calm) does not contain spf however my primer and foundation does, do i need to be applying a sunscreen aswell?
xxx
Really enjoyed the videos! Just wanted to thank you for all the work you do on your blog- I've really learnt a lot. I wish I'd had advise like this when I was younger, before probably doing all the wrong things to my skin. I feel like I've abused my skin a bit treating it very harshly when I was a teenager with spots and using sunbeds in my early 20's.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask if you could recommend some anti-aging products? Your anti-aging cheat sheet is really helpful, I just wondered if you could suggest some specific products, particularly in terms of repairing sun-damage, plumping and firmness. Would you recommend some of the expensive products of Dr Perricone's and still recommend the S11 facelift product (I think it was called, made with space scientists).
Thankyou, Abi
Yay, just subbed! Looking forward to all of your videos :)

I made my 3-year-old grandson watch it with me within seconds of its release. I introduced him to my "friends" Caroline and Ruth. Terrific first videos! Waiting for more. I loved it. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThe video was great! I've been devouring your blog since I discovered it. I'm in the US and just started using the Jordan Samuel products and they're really nice. Just wondering: have you ever used/tried any Mario Badescu products? I'm curious about them... Thank you and looking forward to more!
ReplyDeleteCould you please write a blog post on ingredients both good and bad? So many of the products recommended are not widely available. It would be great to have a list of what ingredient works for a specific issue -XYZ is good for fading age spots, ABC is good for acne, that sort of thing. And to see what to avoid. We know to avoid mineral oil, but what are other terms for it?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Oh Wise Goddess Of Skincare.
Im thinking youtube should have a love button or something. I'd use it.
ReplyDeleteYoutube does need a love button! Loved the video - please make/upload more!
ReplyDeleteLove! You make a great double act! Funny as well....agree you should keep in the bloopers! I would love to see you actually applying the products to yourselves as you talk about them. The music at the beginning of Caroline's video though was a little, erm....circa 1970's?! Can't wait to see more of these videos.
ReplyDeleteLove the bloopers-KEEP! Love the double act too. Would like to see you apply the products as you talk about them. Really enjoyed watching this, and the 1970s intro music at the start was hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLoved the videos! More please x
ReplyDeleteYou're a delight! And, awesomely, you are exactly as I imagined/hoped you'd be.
ReplyDeleteYou seem very at ease and natural and very, very funny. I'm mindful of your awesome post re: external beauty not being important when I say this but...now I've seen you NOT pulling a daft face, I realize you're actually very beautiful!
And that voice. So lovely!
I absolutely loved these videos Caroline! They were so interesting and I can't wait to see the others! I love your personality too :)

Caroline you are amazing! I live everything you recommend and you have changed my entire routine. But I need help with one thing. When should I put on differin cream (prescription) in the sequence? I use it nightly.
ReplyDeleteLove you Caroline! I need help with one thing. I follow all your steps to the letter. When should I put on differin cream (prescription retin a) in my nightly routine?
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline,it was soo cool! Thank you for the videos! You and Ruth were lovely. More videos please!! I'll purchase 2 new products! THX:))
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline, I loved both videos so much <3 Could you please give any recommendation about daily moisturizer for face with normal cheeks with redness (rosacea prone but no spots there) and oily t-zone? Thanks a lot xx
ReplyDeleteThese were great and informative. Please keep making them. I was already subscribed to A Model Recommends and now I'm subscribed to your channel!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed these! You and Ruth make a great team. More please Mrs!
ReplyDeleteCaroline, what about posting about a routine for mature skin (50, 60)? ;))
ReplyDeleteWonderful! A video on blemish prone skin serums and products would be great xxxxx
ReplyDeleteI second!
DeleteI love the fact you’re doing videos now – thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us all.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I would like a little more detail in a routine video like this, more specifics such as; how long do you wait between applying products, is there any special application technique (for example I always find runny oil-based serums quite hard to apply), etc. almost like a tutorial in style. Also I would love to see you actually do your routine, so I can see your flannel technique and more – although I appreciate that you may not want to film a video like that, which is fair enough! Also, I was surprised that there was no mention of hydraluron! ;)
Overall though, just vair excited that you are on YouTube - I hope it has been as much fun as it looked!
Caroline I'm obsessed with your blog and I purchase just about everything you recommend. I wanted to ask though, how often should you switch around the products in the routine? Every day? Or will that cause some form of reaction?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Haya
So excited to see you on YouTube! Looking forward to hearing a Mineral Oil rant.
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline,
ReplyDeleteJust started reading your blog and I really like your writing. Rookie question - what does a serum do and is it useful for someone like me who's in her mid 20s ?
Thanks!
Dear Caroline, thanks for the YouTube videos, they were useful and full of humour too!! Could you please please do a blog post on skincare during Pregnancy please? My once-hormonal-breakout-prone skin cleared up for a long time after following your instructions, but the zits are now back with a vengeance, especially on the left side of my face, upper lip and chin (I'm 11 weeks pregnant), and a never-before odd pigmentation has started to appear around the corners of my mouth and sides of my nose :( Thank you so, so, so much. I'll be grateful beyond words!!
